This article details which touch gestures are supported on Windows and macOS.

Windows

The table below shows the touch gestures supported by the panels when a Windows computer is connected.

IMPORTANT
If ActivDriver is installed on the computer, ensure that Pen Mode is set to Tablet when using apps which support annotations, such as Microsoft Whiteboard. By default, Pen Mode is set to Mouse to enable certain ActivInspire features to work with Promethean hardware. If ActivInspire is also present on the computer, remember to change the option back to Mouse when done.

Panning with inertia Scrolling Drag one or two fingers up and down
Selection / Drag Mouse drag / selection Drag one finger left or right
Press and hold Right-click Press, wait for the blue ring animation to complete, then release
Zoom Zoom (defaults to CTRL key + mouse scroll wheel) Move two fingers apart or towards each other
Flicks Default: Pan up / Pan down / Back action / Forward action Make quick drag gestures in the desired direction

macOS

When connected to a Mac, the panels support two touch gestures by default: Tap to click and Press and hold.

Additional gestures are supported by installing ActivDriver or the UPDD driver on the connected computer.

ActivDriver

Applicable to ActivPanel Cobalt and Nickel only.
Download ActivDriver and install it on your computer.
Once installed, the panels will also support these gestures on macOS:
