The ActivPanel Owner can now control the use of multiple users through the Settings menu by enabling or disabling users and profiles.

This can be useful for organisations wishing to run applications on an external device (for example on an OPS-M). In this case, it is recommended to switch off all users on the ActivPanel to avoid double logins.

NB: When disabling all users, existing user accounts are not deleted from the ActivPanel. They can be reinstated via the Settings app with everything restored.

Disabling users and profiles

To disable all users on the ActivPanel, follow the instructions below:

  1. From the Owner profile, open the Unified Menu and tap on the Owner icon.
  2. Select the cog icon to open the Users window.
  3. Tap Enable users and profiles at the top to turn the option off and disable all users.
    • The following message appears “All user profiles except Owner will be hidden on this panel.”
  4. Tap OK.

Alternatively, you can do this from the Users menu in the Settings.

When users are disabled, the Owner account becomes the only account on the ActivPanel. No user is visible and no sign in is required. The ActivPanel is automatically signed into the Owner account.

Re-enabling users and profiles

To re-enable users, tap the Settings app in the Locker, select Users, then tap Enable users and profiles at the top to turn the option back on.
